Famous Russian designer Valentin Yudashkin opened Moscow Fashion Week with his Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection. The theme was devoted to the history of the Snow Queen, as a result, the runway was decorated with charming and snowy landscapes, precise form ice crystals and special winter colors. Valentin Yudashkin channeled refined garments made of wool, crepe and chiffon combined with cashmere, silk and lace. The runway was full of beautiful fur coats with voluminous hoods, vinyl raincoats, pantsuits, metallic mini skirts with a feather bottom, chiffon dresses adorned with beads, crystals and etc. Valentin Yudashkin complemented the creations with muffs, little hats and headpieces decorated with crystals and beads – a modern interpretation of a Russian kokoshnik. The color palette stayed mostly in light shades of white, light gray, smoky blue, cream and ecru. Some of the creations displayed prints that depicted the dance of snowflakes and transmitted a beautiful atmosphere of a Russian winter. Valentin Yudashkin revealed luxurious, feminine and precisely crafted garments.
