Ivana Pilja Spring/Summer 2014

The starting point of the Spring/Summer 2014 collection was Japanese culture. Ivana Pilja featured exaggerated silhouettes, which were influenced by sci-fi aesthetics and architectural forms. Origami elements were also present in the garments. The intricate folds and simplified geometric lines in the pieces were teamed up with conceptual headpieces. The heroine of the story was a geisha dressed up in cutting-edge clothes. The dark shades of black, dark metallic brown, and burgundy had a commanding presence throughout the collection. Ivana Pilja continued fearlessly to push the boundaries, as a result, the creations were dramatic, bold, and avant-garde.
